Chalk Paint 101

Dates: Saturday April 5, 10am - 1pm. Instructor: Rachel Gingold. In this 3-hour class you will learn all about how to use Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan. Learn several techniques, such as smooth, rustic, two-color distressed and textured, and create sample boards to take home. The techniques you learn in this workshop compliment every style – from vintage to modern, French country and more. You will learn the proper way to apply both clear and dark wax, to achieve beautiful, durable finishes. Come away inspired, with samples and the confidence to complete your own projects at home with great results! All materials will be provided. Snacks and drinks are included. Trash to Treasure Transformation with Chalk Paint

Dates: Sunday March 9, 9:30am - 1pm., Saturday April 19, 9:30am - 1pm. Instructor: Rachel Gingold. Do you have a small table, chair or other small piece of furniture that has been collecting dust in your attic, basement or garage? Wondering what to do with grandma's old table or that antique chair you found at the flea market? Bring in your small* piece of furniture (please contact us if you have questions re. the size or the type of piece). In this 3.5-hour class, we will supply you with the paint, tools and techniques to create an artistic new piece you will be proud to display in your home! All materials will be provided. A small piece should be one that you can carry yourself, such as a small table or a chair, a picture frame, jewelry box, or something similar.
